Through Service and Connection

Aging Strong is committed to improving lives across the Treasure Valley. With programs focused on health, independence, and happiness, we serve individuals from youth to older adulthood. Through innovative solutions we strive to strengthen communities and create lasting positive change.

Upcoming Events:

Idaho Gives 2026:

May 4th through May 7th

Join us in supporting Aging Strong, a program of Jannus, during Idaho Gives. As one of the fastest aging states in the country, Idaho is home to many older adults who face loneliness and isolation, while family caregivers often provide care without the breaks or support they need. Aging Strong is changing that by offering free respite care, dementia support, caregiver education, and meaningful opportunities for connection.

With the help of dedicated volunteers and community support, Aging Strong brings relief to caregivers, joy and connection to those experiencing memory loss, and purpose to older adults through intergenerational programs like Foster Grandparents. Your support helps ensure that no one has to navigate aging or caregiving alone.

Thank you for supporting Aging Strong during Idaho Gives!

Together, we can ensure that every older adult and caregiver has someone by their side and a community to lean on.

About this event: Improv to Improve Dementia Care for Caregivers

Caring for someone with dementia can be both meaningful and challenging. Improv to Improve Dementia Care is a three-part interactive workshop designed to support caregivers with practical tools, fresh perspective, and a sense of connection. In a welcoming and supportive space, you’ll build confidence and learn simple, effective strategies you can use right away in your daily caregiving.

Through hands-on activities, you’ll discover how to respond with compassion, stay present in difficult moments, and create calmer, connection, and even joy. This workshop also offers a chance to reduce stress, prevent burnout, and strengthen meaningful relationships with those you care for.

This is your time, to learn, connect, and feel supported in the important work you do.

Together, we are Aging Strong.
We look forward to seeing you!
